The 2022 JJ Hahn Hermann's Vineyard is a typical full bodied example of Barossa Shiraz, brimming with dark plum, chocolate and licorice flavours. The combination of French and American oak brings another dimension to the wine, and reflects the flavours of cedar wood spiced with vanilla pods. Amazing roundness thanks to the fresh acidity racing through, carrying the pleasant aftertaste to the next level.
This is a great example of a young wine, a very approachable Shiraz that is designed for early drinking, offering a superb value for a wine created from lovely old vines out of the Vine Vale sub-region of Barossa.
